Leaderboard rules

The TacticLock leaderboard is optional and for fun: a weekly board of puzzle points and a rating board.

Your nickname

• 3 to 16 letters, numbers or underscores.
• Keep it kind: no insults, slurs or sexual words, no real people's names, no brands, nothing that pretends to be TacticLock.
• A nickname reported by three players is replaced with a neutral name (like "Player3f9a1c"). You can pick a new one in Settings → Leaderboard.

Fair play

• Solve puzzles yourself. Using a chess engine, another app or another person to solve them is not allowed.
• Points are calculated on our server: harder puzzles for your level are worth more, each puzzle counts once, and at most 30 puzzles a day count. The weekly board resets every Monday at 00:00 UTC.
• We may hide accounts whose results look impossible, without notice.

Other players

• Long-press a player to hide them (only for you) or report their name.
• There is no chat. We never show anything about your apps, locks or screen time.

Leaving

Settings → Leaderboard → Leave and delete my data deletes your account and scores at once. See https://tacticlock.com/delete-account.
